So I was wandering around town the other day looking for shoes & we walk into a bridal store & I find the shoes (well should I say boots) I've been looking for!! How cool is that. So now all I have to do is get my dress fixed & get a veil & I'm rockin & ready to go :)

Quirky Art

So I'm a member of a GREAT forum called Digital Art Quirks and they have this thing called a Quirk Naming Ceremony. This is basically how it works. You choose the first half of your name and create a 4x6in piece of art with your chosen name, then share it in the DAQ gallery. Someone else on the list chooses your second name, creates a 4x6in pice of art with your second name on it & then waits til the "Quirk Nameing Ceremony" to upload it to the DAQ gallery. You then create another 4x6in piece of art combining both names & share it in the DAQ gallery. Sounds like fun? Well it is! Come join us and sign up for the next round

Well, been having a few bad days & really fallen off the FlyLady wagon.
Anywho I made a decision last night that I am starting on a healthy eating kick, I'm going to exercise, I'm going to re-do the babysteps & I'm going to journal everyday. It's just under 6 months til our wedding now (OMG how time has flown!). I have also decided I am doing this for myself & not anyone else :)
I've signed up over at SparkPeople. A friend recommended it to me & it doesn't look too bad...we'll see how it goes (If you sign up can you please say you were referred by Nightwolf78 - TY).

Scrapbook related stuff

Well it's National Scrapbook Day on the 6th (7th in Australia) - thank goodness it's a weekend cause I'm planning on staying home & scrapping all weekend.

I've entered the DigiScrappinBiz. Kinda exciting as I've never entered a contest like this before. Starts today so I'll post links later on today (or tomorrow). so wish me luck (I know I'll need it I've seen the list of other contestants LOL)

On the design side of scrap life I'm going to be selling at Divine Digital. Royanna & Andrea are great (& they have some gorgeous stuff too). I've been taking part in the 40 Days of Scrapping Purpose challenge over there too - it has been very interesting (& challenging). Check out my layouts here. I'm also setting up my own store but the template I want to use is being a cow but if you want to know more on that you can read my scrap blog.

My blog captures the way I see the world. I love images more than words. Blogging only makes sense to me if there are photos or pictures - be it of daily life, special people, memorable events, or works of art.

as you can see the changes never took place. I just can't find any template I like Dammit! (& I've been too busy to do my own) so boring black I is stuck with for now.

Life has been interesting. Working, scrapbooking, TAFE, the usual. Wedding plans coming along well but I ain't gonna bore you with them here (go here if you are interested)

James is getting into White Wolf's Vampire & WOD etc at the moment. I might play if he runs it not sure. I enjoy my Saturday & Sunday nights doing my own thing while the boys role play (mind you when they start up Con X Uni again - u can bet I'll be there - kicking ass!... now where is my character sheet.....??????)
