So I was wandering around town the other day looking for shoes & we walk into a bridal store & I find the shoes (well should I say boots) I've been looking for!! How cool is that. So now all I have to do is get my dress fixed & get a veil & I'm rockin & ready to go :)

Quirky Art

So I'm a member of a GREAT forum called Digital Art Quirks and they have this thing called a Quirk Naming Ceremony. This is basically how it works. You choose the first half of your name and create a 4x6in piece of art with your chosen name, then share it in the DAQ gallery. Someone else on the list chooses your second name, creates a 4x6in pice of art with your second name on it & then waits til the "Quirk Nameing Ceremony" to upload it to the DAQ gallery. You then create another 4x6in piece of art combining both names & share it in the DAQ gallery. Sounds like fun? Well it is! Come join us and sign up for the next round

Well, been having a few bad days & really fallen off the FlyLady wagon.
Anywho I made a decision last night that I am starting on a healthy eating kick, I'm going to exercise, I'm going to re-do the babysteps & I'm going to journal everyday. It's just under 6 months til our wedding now (OMG how time has flown!). I have also decided I am doing this for myself & not anyone else :)
I've signed up over at SparkPeople. A friend recommended it to me & it doesn't look too bad...we'll see how it goes (If you sign up can you please say you were referred by Nightwolf78 - TY).

Scrapbook related stuff

Well it's National Scrapbook Day on the 6th (7th in Australia) - thank goodness it's a weekend cause I'm planning on staying home & scrapping all weekend.

I've entered the DigiScrappinBiz. Kinda exciting as I've never entered a contest like this before. Starts today so I'll post links later on today (or tomorrow). so wish me luck (I know I'll need it I've seen the list of other contestants LOL)

On the design side of scrap life I'm going to be selling at Divine Digital. Royanna & Andrea are great (& they have some gorgeous stuff too). I've been taking part in the 40 Days of Scrapping Purpose challenge over there too - it has been very interesting (& challenging). Check out my layouts here. I'm also setting up my own store but the template I want to use is being a cow but if you want to know more on that you can read my scrap blog.

My blog captures the way I see the world. I love images more than words. Blogging only makes sense to me if there are photos or pictures - be it of daily life, special people, memorable events, or works of art.

Having a LAN party today. AFL started last night... means footy tipping starts again soon.
Had xray - get results next week.

Started TAFE on the 13th - course looks like fun.
Gonna update the template for this blog sometime this weekend - plain black is boring lol

News

Good news to share. I had my interview with Centrelink today & I'm getting payed again (Yay!) so I am now officially looking for work again.

I also enrolled & payed for Cert. III in Multimedia @ TAFE part time - so that could be interesting.

Went to the docs & am healthy. Have to have an X-ray on my neck thou - possible pinched nerve (ouch!)

Not much else is happening *sigh* Check out the wedding blog here
Will be sharing alsorts of wedding "stuff" over there as not to bore the usual readers (maniacle (sp?) laugh)

*sigh* in a good mood. Off to change Imood and do some updates on other bloggies :D

Pay update

So I have reapplied for Newstart. I am now only working part time & looking for work. Have an interview with the Job network 2morrow & then have to wait til the 7th of Feb for my Centrelink interview *sigh*
Hopefully they will back pay me to my 2nd claim date (yesterday) *fingers crossed*

Should go check out the uni situation soon too.

Life & Stuff

It's so freaking muggy here at the moment - I wish it would just turn into a thunderstorm like it looks like it's threatening to do! I love thunderstorms - especially when nature puts on an awesome lightning show. A great op for some nice photos .

Still no news on when I'm getting payed :( Hopefully I'll hear this week.

Downloading Daz Studio for something to do. Would just install Poser but it's on the server & the server is dead ... well sleeping .... more really sick lol Wanna make some 3d stuff for my scrapbook kits.

Dad's birthday on Saturday, which means it'll be mine in just over a week - OMG I'm gonna b 28!
That mean's I'm nearly 30!!!! Ack!
